​Meet Kaleb

Meet my son, Kaleb. Kaleb is 8 yrs old and is the oldest of 3 children, Sierra 2yrs and Andrew 7mns old. Kaleb is in the first grade. He enjoys coloring and playing with his little brother and sister and loves watching television as well as playing video games on his tablet and most importantly he loves playing with his couisns. 



Kaleb's Story

Unlike most children, Kaleb is unable to run, climb trees or even participate in activities such as hiking or sports without assistance with his wheel chair. At the age of 5, Kaleb was diagnoised with Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Over the last 3 years, we have seen him go from struggling with walking to being confined to his wheel chair, with the exception of the occassional 4-5 steps at a time before stumbling and falling down. Duchenne's begins attacking at the legs, making it harder for him to walk and will eventually attack his heart, resulting in loss of life. Our goal is to give him the best quality of life that we can while we still have the chance.
